News report:
A fire started at 8.30pm in Jurong West St 42 Block 401 6th floor. Civillians were asked to evacuate the 5I HDB flat and 2 Fire Trucks arrived at approx 8.45pm. At least 8 other police cars were involved and approx 20 policemen/women were patrolling the corridors and evacuating people. Fire was said to put out at approx 9pm, but thick gray smoke filled the already dark and dull sky. It appears that there was no casualties in this fire incident however many were choking from the heavy smoke and dust.
An unhappy civillian whom only wished to be known as Alfred Tan( Identities are confined due to protect the stupid idiot 6th floor family who started the fire! ) responded to our interview: I was studying MARKETING in my living room with my computor on blasting at the maximum volume around 8pm when I sort of smell smoke and thought that it was people burning joss sticks and papers downstairs. I went to bath around 8.15 and my Dad came home around 8.30 and shouted to me that a fire broke out on the 6th story while I was still in my bath. I had no choice but to take my SUPER CUTE Elfie (Shih Tzu) and Bandit (Golden Retriever) downstairs to avoid the choking smoke. Oh...and er...I'M FUCKING PISSED I HAD TO EVACUATE FOR 1HR PLUS WHEN I COULD HAD USED THE TIME TO STUDY MY EXAMS! WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME! ARGH!!! If it didnt happen I wouldn't be spending 15mins typing what I've experienced on my blog =)
